WHO IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THIS INVENTION?

Today at work, circa 11am, some IDIOT called and asked to speak to the producer of the Snuggie commercial. I was like, "wait, what? the SNUGGIE? like the blanket?" and the guy on the other line was all calm and cool like "Yeah. In AdAge today it says your agency produces it." and I was just baffled. Baffled that A) This commercial was actually produced by an Ad Agency? and B) That my agency is the one being blamed for it.

The best part was when I told the guy he had his facts wrong (or more like "i'm sorry, but we don't produce that") he didn't believe me. I had to google the adage article and read it to him to prove that our agency didn't produce this shit.



I think snuggies are ridiculous. seriously. the only time i will be wearing a snuggie is when i break both of my arms at the same time and can't physically use a blanket.

I was invited to go to this tonight.

The plan was to go hang with some Ivy Leaguers, put myself outside of my comfort zone... and report back. But, I chickened out. For good reason.

Hey Jealousy

My friend M met a boy on craigslist. here's now. also, i looked him up on facebook. for a solid hour. he. is. so. dreamy. i want to say i'm happy for M, but in all reality, i'm green with envy, and am seriously, truly jealous. i've also been listening to some playlist he made for the week, which is seriously amazing. M, i'm stalking your boy, sorry.

M: so, one day at work i was bored looking through missed connections - and decided to start emailing people for fun - and i emailed this dude that wrote about how he never has encounters like the people on missed connections blah blah
well, turned out he was a completely normal college grad working in the city - graduated from yale in 07 and works at limewire, impeccable taste in music, extremely intelligent
we talked on gchat for awhile, became fbook friends hsh, and later he was like what the hell let's meet up and see how it goes
so we did - and it went very well, and i ended up staying at his place sat and stayed there on sunday till 4pm just hanging around laying in bed all day
and that's that haha
