so last night s and i went to a byob sushi place with some friends and we each bought a bottle of wine; needless to say we didn't finish them all (disappointing!) and had one left over. we didn't know what to do with it and didn't want to throw it away -- obviously could not bring it with us in the next bar.
so then s and i go into this hole-in-the-wall pizza place and i asked the pizza guy at the counter if he could hold it for us and we would pick it up later, promising to buy pizza later. we thought we'd be going in a bar next door, making it simple, but went downtown more to a whole different hood.
our wine was forgotten about until i ended up separated from S and back in the hood by the pizza place. while walking by the pizza place i remembered the wine, popped in, asked for casey and dear darling casey gave me the wine bottle at 3am, and i didn't even buy any pizza.
there's goodness in the world!!
