Bananarexia?

So my mom sent me this article from Time magazine. Apparently there's this new diet fad in Japan: The Morning Banana Diet.

"The Morning Banana Diet regime is simple: A banana (or as many as you want) and room temperature water for breakfast; eat anything you like for lunch and dinner (by 8 p.m.). A three o'clock snack is okay, but no desserts after meals, and you have to go to bed before midnight."

People are dropping mad weight over there by following this routine. Seems bogus to me, but I've always like bananas...

Pumpkin Carving Contest

My friends and I had a pumpkin carving contest and as you can see, I clearly won.

I lie. I don't have friends. And no way could I ever manage to carve anything resembling a face when it comes to pumpkins. My childhood memories of Halloween involve cutting a pumpkin face which resembled a plastic surgery victim where the surgeon was obviously coked out and incredibly incision-happy.

Well I'll be, someone had a knack for this type of stuff and became a pumpkin-carving artist. Considering Halloween only happens once a year, you better believe that these pumpkins are $$$. Check it here
