the completion of words
so i was just in atlantic city spending hundreds and hundreds of my friends dads comped dollars and i ate at this really nice, upscale steakhouse in our hotel. my friends and i were enjoying the whole experience until our waitress started referring to our appetizers as "apps." as in, "your apps will be out in two minutes" or "would you like to order some apps?"
i dont know if anyone else went through an "abbrev" stage in their life but this totally cheapened the meal. i did not order the "seafood spesh" i ordered the seafood SPECIAL. entrees, not ents. seriously we are spending over a hundred dollars each at this restaurant, please finish your words. the only place they are allowed to say "apps" is Tgifridays am i right!??!
